EURAFeDaC static site - required files and software

The EURAFeDaC site contains the :
  • Web published data sheets with various indices supported by a userfriendly framed navigation;
  • Database searches and remote management powered by WebSTAR (Starnine) and Lasso (Blueworld) servers

    The EURAFeDaC folder

    Steps for passing data from FileMaker Pro to FMPConverter to generate the necessary folders and files inside the EURAFeDaC Web environment.

    1. Enter data both manually and automatically using the required FileMaker Pro layout;
    2. Check for data consistency and homogeneity;
    3. For federations : sort data on the GB categories then acronyms arguments; [
    4. Renumber the records link field from 0001 to the end (using text numbers);]
    5. For addresses : sort data on the GB cities then persons arguments;
    6. Export the required fields in their required sequence as a tab separated files.

      Software :
      - FileMaker Pro
      - FMPConverter written in FutureBasic II (Staz software).

      Files:
      - members2000.fp3 FileMaker Pro file;
      - federations2000.fp3 FileMaker Pro file.

      Web framed environment :
      - EURAFeDaC folder.
